Leo & Sun started at our kitchen table because we needed it and couldn't find it. Here's how we got here.
Named after our boys — Leo and Sunny. Strong, bright, and the reason behind everything we do.
We've always been pretty health-conscious when it comes to what our boys eat. We started with silicone plates, thinking they were the safest option — though the odd plastic plate would still make an appearance at snack time, usually ones gifted by loved ones.
Then we started noticing our silicone plates & bowls smelled like the dishwasher tablets when they came out of the wash… and when we'd finish the boys' leftovers, we could taste it too. (no wonder why our toddler was so fussy!)
That moment sent us down a deep dive into the materials we were feeding our kids from. We tried ceramics for a while, but we just couldn't relax. With little ones still learning to carry their plates to the table, we found ourselves basically cradling them the whole way.
Then we finally discovered stainless steel. No smells. No stains. No breaking if it's dropped. Just simple, safe tableware that lasts for years.
Why don't more people know about this from the start?
